Can I change employers while holding a Work Permit?
Only through a fresh application — the Work Permit is tied to the employer who sponsored it. The new employer must apply for a new Work Permit (or another suitable pass) before you start, and the old pass is cancelled once the new one is approved.
Plan the transition
Avoid a gap between passes — your new employer's quota and levy position matters, and working for the new employer before approval is not permitted.
Sector changes matter too
Moving to a different sector may involve different quota, levy and salary rules. Check them before you commit, and confirm the new employer can actually secure the quota.
