Who is eligible for LTVP+?
LTVP+ is for foreign spouses of Singapore Citizens who either have a Singapore Citizen child from the marriage or have been married for at least three years. Children of the marriage can be included. It is not open to spouses of Permanent Residents or of work-pass holders.
The eligibility criteria
The sponsor must be a Singapore Citizen, and the marriage must show established ties — either a Singapore Citizen child from the marriage, or a marriage of at least three years. Spouses of Permanent Residents and of Employment Pass or S Pass holders are not eligible for LTVP+, though they may still qualify for a standard LTVP.
How it is granted
There is no separate LTVP+ application form. ICA assesses eligible LTVP applicants for LTVP+ as part of the LTVP application or renewal, and the outcome letter tells you which pass has been granted. A longer validity period on its own does not confirm LTVP+ — check the endorsement or the ICA letter.
