What's the difference between LTVP and LTVP+?

LTVP+ is a longer-validity pass (up to 3 years per renewal cycle) issued to spouses and children of Singapore Citizens who show stronger, more established family ties, and it comes with extra benefits like subsidised public healthcare and eligibility to apply for a Letter of Consent to work. A 3-year validity alone doesn't confirm LTVP+ — check the pass endorsement or your ICA notification letter directly.

Who gets LTVP+

LTVP+ is generally reserved for spouses and children of Singapore Citizens with more established family ties — for example, a longer marriage or a Singapore-citizen child. It is not available to parents or to dependants of PRs or work-pass holders.

Benefits and how to confirm

LTVP+ comes with subsidised public healthcare and makes the holder eligible to apply for a Letter of Consent (LOC) to work in Singapore. A longer validity period alone does not mean the pass is LTVP+ — check the endorsement on the pass itself or the wording in your ICA notification letter to be sure.
