What should be done with the LTVP if the pass holder has passed away?
The sponsor should cancel the pass by submitting the Cancellation of Long-Term Visit Pass form through ICA's e-Service. Cancellation is not automatic, and the sponsor's obligations to ICA continue until it is filed.
Who cancels the pass
The sponsor files the cancellation through the ICA e-Service using the Cancellation of Long-Term Visit Pass form. ICA may ask for the death certificate as supporting evidence.
Related matters
If other family members held passes sponsored on the same basis, their status may also be affected and should be reviewed at the same time rather than left until renewal.
