How do I cancel an LTVP or LTVP+?
Submit the Cancellation of Long-Term Visit Pass form through ICA's e-Service. Once the pass is cancelled the holder is normally issued a Short-Term Visit Pass, so they can remain lawfully in Singapore for a limited period before departing or moving onto another pass.
The cancellation process
Cancellation is filed through the ICA e-Service using the Cancellation of Long-Term Visit Pass form. It is usually done by the sponsor, and it is a deliberate step — a pass is not cancelled automatically when circumstances change.
What happens afterwards
After cancellation the holder generally receives a Short-Term Visit Pass to regularise their stay. If a Letter of Consent to work was in place it falls away with the LTVP, so employment must stop unless another valid pass is obtained.
