How do I withdraw an LTVP application after submitting it?
Either the sponsor or the applicant can log in to ICA's e-Service and withdraw the application while it is still in progress. Once a decision has been issued the application can no longer be withdrawn — at that point you are dealing with the outcome instead.
Withdrawing while in progress
The withdrawal option sits in the ICA e-Service against the pending application and can be actioned by the sponsor or the applicant. It is only available while the application is still under assessment.
Think before you withdraw
Withdrawing and reapplying is not a neutral reset — a fresh application is assessed on the facts at the time it is filed, and application fees are not refunded. If you are withdrawing because you think the file is weak, it is usually better to get the file reviewed first.
