Do I need a visa to enter Singapore as a tourist?

It depends on your nationality. Citizens of many countries can enter Singapore visa-free for 30 days (up to 90 for some); other nationalities need an entry visa before travelling. ICA decides the exact stay period at the checkpoint, not the visa.

Check your nationality first

The visa-free country list is set by ICA and changes over time. If a visa is required, apply for an electronic entry visa well before travel and check the conditions attached.

The pass, not the visa, sets your stay

Even visa-free travellers receive a short-term visit pass on arrival. Check the pass (physical or digital in Singpass) for your exact allowed stay — it may be shorter than you expect.
