How long can I stay in Singapore on a visit pass?

Most visitors are granted 30 days on arrival; some nationalities receive 90 days. The period is set by the ICA officer at the checkpoint and shown on the pass — do not assume your visa validity equals your stay entitlement.

Where to check

Your visit pass states the last day you may remain in Singapore. Leaving even one day late is an overstay, so note the date when you clear immigration.

Overstaying is serious

Penalties under the Immigration Act can include fines, prosecution and a re-entry ban. Always leave before the pass expires, or apply for an extension in advance.
