Does studying at a top Singapore university improve the path to Singapore PR?

A Singapore degree can strengthen the professional profile ICA weighs, but enrolment or graduation does not by itself create PR eligibility. ICA's published student category requires study in Singapore plus at least one national examination (PSLE, GCE 'N'/'O'/'A' Levels) or the Integrated Programme. University attendance alone does not meet that stated condition.

The honest position

A foreign graduate who later holds an Employment Pass or S Pass falls within a separately listed category of foreigners who may apply for PR, and ICA assesses contributions, qualifications, age, family ties and length of stay.
