Should families choose a university mainly for future Singapore PR prospects?
PR prospects are a reasonable secondary factor — qualifications are one input ICA weighs and can earn up to 20 COMPASS points for an Employment Pass — but they should not be the primary reason. Choose the programme and career outcome first, then let the immigration path follow a well-supported record.
Balance the decision
Education helps, but employment, contribution and integration carry the weight.
