- Note that the validity of the renewed pass will start from the date of issuance, and any remaining validity from your old pass will not be carried forward.

- If your renewal is still pending when your pass expires, you will typically receive an email notification and your pass will be automatically converted to a Short-Term Visit Pass (STVP) to regularise your stay.
How do I update my new passport details with ICA if I am a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holder?
- You can report the change via the ICA e-Service and will need to upload your new passport's biodata page.
What is the processing time for an LTVP?
- Applications are usually processed within 6 weeks.
- However, it may take up to 6 months if the Singapore Citizen spouse did not submit a Pre-Marriage Long-Term Visit Pass Assessment (PMLA). You will be informed of the outcome via email.
What is the difference between a Dependant's Pass (DP) and a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP)?
- A Dependant's Pass (DP) is issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to eligible dependants of work-pass holders.
- An LTVP is generally for dependants of Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents and is handled by ICA.
How do I update my residential address with ICA if I am a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) holder?
