What are my obligations as a Singapore Permanent Resident?
- PRs must live, work, or study in Singapore and contribute to the community.
- When travelling abroad, a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP) must be held for the entire time outside Singapore — without it, your PR status lapses on return. REP is typically valid for 5 years; renew before it expires.
