What should I do if my Employment Pass application is rejected?
Ask the employer for the rejection details, then decide between an appeal and a fresh application. MOM will not approve the same case twice on the same facts — an appeal needs new or stronger evidence (salary, qualifications, role), and sometimes the fix is the employer's COMPASS profile, not the candidate.
First steps after a rejection
Confirm exactly what was rejected and why — the EP eService result usually indicates whether the salary, COMPASS points, or the employer profile was the issue. Then get a professional read on whether an appeal can realistically succeed or whether the application should be rebuilt (for example, a higher salary, verified qualifications, or a different job level) before resubmission.
