Can I change employers while holding an Employment Pass?
Yes, but your EP is tied to the employer who sponsored it — the new employer must submit a fresh EP application, and you should only start work for them after the new pass is approved. Keep the transition clean so there is no gap in your work-authorisation status.
How a change works
Your new employer applies for a new EP through MOM. The application is assessed fresh — the qualifying salary, COMPASS score and company criteria all apply again. Once approved, the new EP takes over and the old one is cancelled. Plan the timing with both employers so you never work without valid authorisation.
